Many folks wonder what Santa and his elves do when they’re not making toys. Few know that the jolly ol’ soul and his vertically challenged compatriots are big fans of brewing beer. We discovered that our first year in business. Ever since, we’ve been happy to showcase their latest creations every July 25.
Why Christmas in July?
The North Pole is a busy place and if we waited any longer, we’d end up in the middle of the holiday rush and the other Christmas events in Texas. July is the only time when St. Nick and his buddies can break away from the teetotaling Mrs. Clause and have some fun.
A Good Time for Good Boys and Girls
The Lonestar Taps and Caps crew is preparing special kegs and limited-release bottles for the Christmas in July events we are hosting in Fort Worth, Texas; Lewisville, Texas; and Denton, Texas. Even if you’ve been bad, we promise not to put coal in your pint glass. And who knows? If you run into the man himself, he might even tip a toast with you and issue you a full pardon.
Our Christmas Tap List
The beer flowing through the taps of our three locations for this Christmas event in Texas will be anything but ho-humbug.
Kristmas with Krampus
For Kristmas with Krampus, we highly recommend Prairie’s Christmas Bomb and Avery’s Mephistopheles. Each is guaranteed to satiate even the most parched palate. You might even find redemption at the bottom of each glass.
You might also enjoy Epic’s Big Bad Baptist. This beer is so good that you could take a dip in it and come out feeling like a brand new man.
Christmas in July
Martin House Xmas in July and Oskar Blues’ popular barrel-aged Ten Fidy are the most anticipated beers of the season. Each is beautifully crafted and worthy of a kiss or two under the mistletoe. If you’re looking for a blast of flavor, then get ready for Prairie’s Christmas Bomb and Pirate Bomb to explode in your mouth.
We invite you to stop by Lone Star Taps and Caps to enjoy these fantastic beers and the incredible company of elves and jolly ol’ souls eager to have a little fun. Our team is busy getting our locations ready for one of the most memorable Texas events of July and we are looking forward to seeing you!
